Hand wash only in cold or lukewarm water using 1 teaspoon of shampoo or mild liquid wash.

Do not use regular laundry detergent, washing powder, bleach, or fabric softeners, as harsh chemicals stiffen and fuzz the knit.

Gently soak and swish for 10–15 minutes never rub, scrub, or twist/wring the muffler.

If using a washing machine, place inside a zippered mesh laundry bag and run strictly on a Cold Delicate/Wool cycle with low spin.

Press gently with a dry towel to remove excess water and lay flat to air dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight or heat. Never hang wet, as gravity will stretch the knit.
